Brush and comb your dog COMPLETELY before bathing him or her.
Walk your dog before your appointment
Set up regular appointments
Train your dog to accept grooming, just like you train him/her to sit and stay
Arrive in good time for your appointment with your dog toileted and on a lead.
PLEASE DO NOT
Don't leave it until your puppy is a year old for his/her first groom!
Don't bath your dog every week instead of brushing, this creates matts.
Don’t leave young children in charge of grooming
Don't try to convince us to dematt your dog if he/she is severely matted. Complete dematting is inhumane and cruel.
Don't teach your puppy that it is fun to bite the brush or hair dryer.
Don't allow your pet to defecate in or around the salon and not clean it up.
Don't neglect to tell us if your pet has been ill.
A groomer can’t undo weeks of brushing neglect in a few hours!
